Gear Review: Pocket Bellows

Fire has 3 basic needs; fuel, heat, and oxygen. The Pocket Bellows by Epiphany Outdoor Gear directs oxygen with pinpoint accuracy, directly to where its needed. No more blowing aimlessly until you are dizzy.

Weight: 0.16 ounces
Made from rust resistant brass alloy and stainless steel.

What We Like

It is lightweight and collapsible, making it a great addition to any backpacking or camping trip.

The Pocket Bellows helps keep your face away from the flames and smoke.

It’s design allows for pinpoint accuracy of compressed oxygen.

Epiphany Outdoor Gear is a veteran owned small business in America, owned by a father and son.

What We Don’t Like

After several uses, it became harder to collapse and expand. It may require some cleaning/maintenance.

Is this a necessary tool for starting a fire? No.

However, it certainly helps get a fire started faster, even in conditions with wet or damp wood. We’ve used the Pocket Bellows for a little over a year and are very happy with our experience.

It has earned the right to be an essential tool in our camping gear.
